Waste to Energy Plant Project Review

JC Industrial Services has a successful history performing work at numerous Waste to Energy facilities for nearly 12 years and counting. During this time, we have worked close with engineering and  plant personnel to engineer and implement solutions to combat problematic and costly corrosion issues in these facilities. Our ceramic thermal barrier and  performance coating systems offer true Value Engineering alternatives.  Alternatives to conventional methods found ineffective in protecting critical assets from corrosion and effecting service life of plant equipment. One example is our alternative to conventional insulation and cladding on Air Pollution Compliance Equipment (APC Equipment). OUR CTB-1 System has proven to offer dramatic results in the battle to control heat and prevent Acid Dew Point Corrosion and Corrosion Under Insulation. The following photos offer a before and after look at the Pinellas Project located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The scope of work included staging, removal of the existing mineral wool insulation and cladding, and replacing it with the CTB-1 spray applied ceramic thermal barrier insulation system.

Structural Steel Rust Abatement Project

Greencastle, IN

This cement plant was in urgent need of our corrosion control system as they were looking to protect their assets. This unique engineered coating has received a US patent as a lead based paint and hazardous material encapsulation product. Designed to be applied directly to prepared substrates, even rust, with no risk to performance. We are able to minimalize abrasive blasting which brings less disruption to plant operations and lowers the environmental impact. We utilize pressure washing and hand tooling methods in most circumstances.
